Characteristics of this network technology: First, the construction of distributing type front-end placed and double-star network topological structure can effectively assure the security and stability of the information transmission, solve the gathering of the returning noise. Second, adopt HFC network taking optical fiber transmission (FTTB) and co-axial cable transmission as supplementary. The signal attenuation character, temperature character and anti-disturbance character have been greatly improved. Third, expanding the network transmission wide band, network wide band is expanded from 550MHz to 860MHz, enabling the carrying information quantity to be increased, which is adaptable to the transmission of picture, voice and data, etc. Forth, network bi-directional design is convenient for the development of interaction value-added business. Fifth, it has omitted the signal magnifier which was widely used in traditional network, making the network be more stable and more convenient for maintenance.

At present, WISCO Communication Corp. applied this technology to conduct bi-directional reconstruction for about 80,000 users of WISCO, enabling its the transmission quality of the analogue and digital TV signal to be apparently enhanced, and has providedCable Modem online service for 1,400 plus users, the economic benefit and social benefit are very good.

Digitalization and bi-direction integration technology of CATV enabled CATV network to be reconstructed to new type network of bi-directional transmission from the former one-directional network.
